The Tulsa Chapter of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA)

Founded in 1969, the nonprofit, independent ISACA hosts international conferences, publishes the ISACA® Journal, and develops international IS auditing and control standards, which help its constituents ensure trust in, and value from, information systems. It also advances and attests IT skills and knowledge through the globally respected Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA®), Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM®), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT® (CGEIT®) and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) designations.

ISACA continually updates and expands the practical guidance and product family based on the COBIT framework. COBIT helps IT professionals and enterprise leaders fulfill their IT governance and management responsibilities, particularly in the areas of assurance, security, risk and control, and deliver value to the business.

About the IT Governance Institute
The IT Governance Institute® (ITGI®) ( is a nonprofit, independent research entity that provides guidance for the global business community on issues related to the enterprise governance of IT assets. ITGI was established by the nonprofit membership association ISACA in 1998.

About the Tulsa Chapter

The Tulsa chapter provides communication and education about Information Systems Auditing in the eastern Oklahoma area. We sponsor meetings and programs on a regular basis to inform our members and the public about various aspects of IT auditing.

The Tulsa chapter has 160 members and continues to grow in size. Our membership includes 77 Certified Information System Auditors; 15 Certified Information Security Managers; 21 Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control; and 2 Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT. The chapter meetings provide a wide array of IT Audit and Security topics along with open discussion about the current topics and how to apply the information.
